Our story begins in the vibrant city of San Francisco, where fate decided to take a digital detour. A right swipe on Bumble set the stage for a real-life love story. Little did we know that our paths, initially guided by algorithms and emojis, would lead us to a connection so genuine. From witty banter in our messages to the moment we realized we wanted more than just pixels on a screen.
The Rokha:
On April 16th, 2022, a significant milestone in our journey unfolded as our families came together for the auspicious occasion of our rokha ceremony. It was a special moment as they gave us their blessings to move forward with our relationship. The rokha ceremony is a significant step in our culture, where families formally acknowledge and support the union of the couple. It was a joyous occasion filled with love and excitment for the future.
The proposal:
In Porto, near the stunning Dom Luís I Bridge, on December 11th, 2022, Akshar popped the question during a casual evening stroll. It was a simple, genuine moment that perfectly captured the essence of our relationship.
With excitement and love in the air, Akinchita said "Yes!"—knowing that this was the beginning of our journey together. We're excited to celebrate our love with you and create new memories surrounded by cherished family and friends.
